wickedsick Blondie's Story - The First Albino Darwin Carpet Python

In the last decade carpet pythons have been bred to showcase an amazing array of colours and patterns, but all these colourfull pythons arguably started with one snake named Blondie

Blondie was discovered in a caravan park near Darwin, Australia in the 1990's. After spending several years on display at a wildlife park in the Northern Territory he was sent to Adelaide where a well known reptile keeper names Simon Stone bred him to produce the first captive albino carpet pythons in Australia, leading to all the albino carpet pythons in the hobby today! Blondie then lived out his days back at the Territory Wildlife Park until he passed away in 2014 at the age of 22 years old
